Terms of Service

Welcome to GleamFlow Net. By accessing our website and using our mobile platform game development services, you're entering into an agreement with us. These terms apply to everyone who visits gleamflow-net.com or engages with our work.

We've tried to keep this straightforward. When you hire us for game development, you're agreeing to work with us in good faith. That means honest communication, timely feedback, and respecting the creative process. In return, we commit to delivering quality work that meets the brief we've agreed upon.

Service Delivery and Timelines

Project timelines are estimates based on our experience. Sometimes things take longer – a feature might need rethinking, or testing reveals issues we didn't anticipate. We'll always keep you informed if deadlines shift.

Payment terms are outlined in individual project agreements. Typically, we work with milestone-based payments for larger projects and upfront payment for smaller engagements.

Intellectual Property Rights

Once you've paid in full, you own the final game assets we've created specifically for your project. However, we retain ownership of our development tools, frameworks, and any pre-existing code libraries we use. Think of it this way: you own the house, but we keep our hammers and saws.

We reserve the right to showcase completed projects in our portfolio unless you specifically request confidentiality. Some clients prefer to keep their projects under wraps until launch – just let us know.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us. We collect information when you contact us or engage our services, but we're not in the business of selling data or bombarding you with marketing emails.

We collect: your name, email address, phone number, project details, and any information you choose to share during our conversations. That's it. No tracking across websites, no selling lists to third parties.

When you send us an email or fill out a contact form, that information goes into our client management system. We use it to respond to your enquiry and, if we work together, to manage your project. Pretty standard stuff.

How We Use Your Information

  • Responding to your enquiries and providing quotes
  • Managing active projects and maintaining client relationships
  • Sending project updates and important service information
  • Improving our services based on feedback and project outcomes
  • Complying with legal obligations, like tax reporting

Data Security

We take reasonable precautions to protect your information. Our systems are secured, access is limited to team members who need it, and we don't store payment card details on our servers.

That said, no system is completely bulletproof. We do our best, but we can't guarantee absolute security – nobody honestly can.

Your Rights

You can request to see what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or request deletion. There are some legal exceptions – we might need to keep certain records for tax purposes, for instance – but we'll always be transparent about what we can and can't do.

Cookie Policy

Our website uses minimal cookies. We're not tracking your every move or building detailed profiles. The cookies we use help the site function properly and remember your preferences.

  • Essential cookies that make the website work
  • Preference cookies that remember your settings
  • Basic analytics to understand which pages people visit most

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site might not work as smoothly. Most browsers accept cookies automatically, but you're in control.

Limitation of Liability

We stand behind our work, but we need to be realistic about what we can promise. We'll fix bugs and issues that arise from our work. If something breaks because of our code, we'll sort it out.

However, we can't be held responsible for issues beyond our control – third-party platform changes, app store rejections based on policy changes, or problems caused by modifications made after delivery.

Our liability is limited to the amount you've paid for the specific project in question. This is standard in the industry and protects both parties from unreasonable claims.

Dispute Resolution

We've been fortunate that serious disputes are rare. When issues arise, we prefer to talk them through. Most problems come from misunderstandings or unclear expectations, and those can usually be resolved with honest conversation.

If we can't reach an agreement directly, we're open to mediation before considering formal legal action. It's faster, cheaper, and less stressful for everyone involved.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Our registered address is in Birmingham, and any legal proceedings would take place in UK courts.

Changes to These Terms

We might update these terms occasionally. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. For existing projects, the terms in effect when you signed your agreement will apply. New projects fall under whatever terms are current at that time.

If we make significant changes, we'll email active clients. But checking back here periodically isn't a bad idea if you're working with us long-term.

Questions About These Terms?

We're happy to clarify anything that seems unclear. Legal documents can be dense, and we'd rather you understand what you're agreeing to.
